It is our intent to place an insert in the bulletin periodically to share information the Shepherds have under consideration.
Action
You may desire to submit suggestions on HOW you would like for the Shepherds and Ministers to communicate more in the future. This is not to take the place of the normal articles and announcements that regularly appear in the bulletin.

Shepherd’s Lists
Each of your Shepherds has been given a list of a portion of the congregation. Each Shepherd will be in contact with those on his list in the next few weeks. We hope to also use this means of opening up additional communication with the members and to provide a regular opportunity to visit with each member . We want to know from you how best to serve you as your Shepherds.
Shepherd’s and Ministers Retreat
The Shepherds and the Ministers will be in Marble Falls, Texas on November 10, 11, 2006. This will be a time of discussion and prayer for the Lord’s work here at Leander.

Additional Deacons
A committee has been appointed to guide the congregation through the process of selecting and appointing additional deacons. The committee members are:

Minister of Education
Wayne Sharp has agreed to be our Minister of Education in addition to working with World Bible School.
Budget Preparation Time
All ministry leaders are requested to prepare a budget for 2007 and turn it in by November 30, 2006 to any of the Shepherds.
