ITALY
We support the work of the DeMarcos in Naples and help with the support of the Mahans in Prato, Italy.
ECUADOR
Dane travels to Ecuador several times each year visiting several cities each time. Others travel with him on a few occasions. We send help to the North Davis congregation in Arlington, Tx, for
Dane’s Radio Program.
JAMAICA
We support the work of Derrick Brown in Spanish Town and help with the support of Norman Starling holding campaigns in several cities in Jamaica. Norman also travels to many cities world-wide not in Jamaica.
CHILE
We send support to Zane Perkins in Santiago, Chile
MALAWI
Most of the students in our foreign World Bible School program are from Malawi
ZIMBABWE
We send support for two preachers in Zimbabwe. We also have many World Bible School students in Zimbabwe.
ZAMBIA
Many students in World Bible School are from Zambia
SIERRA LEONE
Many students in World Bible School are from Sierra Leone.

We send support to Gospel Chariot Missions. This ministry travels into 12 African countries having gospel meetings and distributing tons of literature. They have distributed over two million Bible School lessons as well as six hundred thousand Bibles. They have also established evangelistic studyrooms in gateway cities.
RUSSIA
We send support to Victor and Dimitri Greshnakov in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
MEXICO & Other Spanish Speaking Countries
Dane will travel to Mexico, Panama City and Guatemala this year for speaking engagements.
UNITED STATES
We also have a “local” World Bible School that includes students from many states in the U.S.A. The great majority of our “local” WBS students are from around the greater Austin area.
LUBBOCK, TEXAS
We help with the support of Ed Wharton an instructor for the Sunset International Bible Institute with located in Lubbock, Texas with Branch schools established on five continents. Ed recently reported from his trip to Bangkok, Thailand.

LEANDER/CEDAR PARK, TEXAS
In March of last year, we participated with a large group of Christians that traveled here from many parts of our country to help with the “We Care” Outreach program headed by Larry West of West Monroe, Louisiana.
Our own version of an outreach program is being developed to continue to make our presence known in our own community. Dane Boyles and Ezra Bettis are crafting the details that will shortly be announced.
This program will be started as an outreach on Wednesday evenings, consisting of door knocking in our community and offering our help and assistance somewhat similar to the “We Care” format. In addition, as a separate effort that will very effectively compliment this outreach effort, we will mail to select routes and individual homes in our area an eight page publication entitled “House to House - Heart to Heart”.
This publication is made available by the Jacksonville church of Christ in Jacksonville, Alabama. The front page will have a side panel listing the Leander Church of Christ with the service times and other information. The back page will also list our address and may contain an article of 600 words or less that we submit.
This publication will be sent bimonthly to postal routes of our choice with a minimum of 1000 homes and as many as we care to budget for.
There is a place for you to work in this program. See Dane, Ezra or any of the elders and tell them of your interests.
PICTURE BOARDS
You may have noticed that the picture boards do not have very many of our pictures displayed. We are in the process of getting “current” pictures of all our families.
This is so helpful to our newer members who are trying to put names and faces together. David Fuller and Matthew Roberts have been available each Sunday morning in the Library which is on the west side of the foyer. They are still available but you may need to get their attention.
Please get your picture taken as soon as possible. We can have the whole board filled within a few weeks if everyone pitches in and gets it done.

Thanks for inviting your friends. It made a big difference! This should not be limited to a one time event. Continue to invite your friends to come with you. This will also effectively impact our outreach to the community.
GET OUT OF DEBT GOD’S WAY
The six hour seminar was great. If you were tied up and couldn’t make it April 28th we have great news. Bruce Ammons left us with a DVD that can be used for small or large groups that are interested.
See any of the elders if you missed being at the seminar and still want to have the advantage of all the helpful suggestions Bruce gave us. When several have indicated a desire to view this material, we will establish an evening or a Saturday time that is best for the group and cover the material.
There are far too many families that have credit card debt that is causing financial difficulties in the family budget. Bruce tells how to get rid of that God’s way!
BUILDING PROGRAM
By now you have noticed that the speaker system has been upgraded and that the big brown speaker box formerly located at the front next to the ceiling has been removed. Other changes include making the dark panels on the sides of the auditorium lighter and reworking the pulpit area to be symmetrical.
